STEM Camp Celebrates 6th Successful Year

Whether building solar ovens, sewing circuits into fabric to create e-textiles or designing and programming robots, the Westfield Public School District’s STEM camp combined project-based learning, ingenuity and fun for a sixth summer.

The Extended School Year Program for preschool through high school students in the Westfield Public School District is in its 16th year, with a continued focus on maintaining and strengthening academic skills through the summer to prepare students for the new school year.

ELL Summer Experience at Westfield Public Schools

Westfield students representing 6 different languages recently enjoyed a weeklong summer camp focused on providing meaningful enrichment activities for students to continue their English language acquisition while having fun.

Tamaques Community Gives Back

Tamaques 1st grade teachers Mary Montes and Jenna Utman (6th and 5th from left, respectively) presented a check for $4,000 to Ahisha Quallis of the Westfield Neighborhood Council on June 13 to be used towards a new roof for the community center.
